May always feels like a turning point for me, and this year is no different. There’s something about the light stretching further into the evening and the air softening that invites reflection, but also quiet excitement. I find myself thinking about how far we’ve come since the start of the year, and how much is still waiting to unfold. It’s a month that gently asks us to open up again—emotionally, mentally, even spiritually.

Astrologically, May 2026 carries a steady but powerful rhythm. The Sun moves through grounded Taurus before shifting into curious Gemini later in the month, and I can already feel that transition between wanting stability and craving movement. Early May encourages us to slow down, to build something meaningful, to reconnect with what truly matters. Then, as the energy shifts, there’s a lightness that arrives—more communication, more ideas, more openness to change.

We also have some strong planetary conversations happening, particularly around how we value ourselves and where we invest our energy. It’s a time of gentle recalibration rather than sudden upheaval. I’ve personally felt this as a quiet nudge rather than a push—an invitation to check in with my priorities and realign without pressure.

The presence of the Fire Horse energy adds another layer to this month. It’s bold, passionate, and a little unpredictable. I see it as a spark—something that can ignite motivation, courage, and creativity if we learn to work with it instead of resisting it. At times, it might feel intense, especially if emotions run high or if we’re being pulled in different directions. But there’s also something incredibly empowering about it. It reminds us that we are allowed to take up space, to go after what we want, and to trust our instincts.

Managing this energy hasn’t been about controlling it for me—it’s been about understanding it. Slowing down when things feel overwhelming, but also leaning in when inspiration strikes. Giving myself permission to rest without guilt, and equally, to act when I feel that inner fire building. Balance doesn’t always mean stillness; sometimes it means moving in a way that feels aligned.

What I love most about this month is the sense of possibility. There are small moments to look forward to—conversations that shift your perspective, opportunities that appear when you least expect them, and a renewed sense of confidence that builds quietly over time. It’s not about dramatic changes, but about meaningful ones.

May is reminding me that growth doesn’t have to be rushed. That joy can be found in the present moment, not just in future plans. And that even in times of uncertainty, there is always something unfolding behind the scenes in our favour.

So as we move through this month together, I’m choosing to stay open. Open to change, open to connection, and open to the idea that something beautiful is already on its way.

So much love
