Can you believe we’re already in July? Summer’s in full swing, and the cosmos is bringing a gorgeous mix of heart, clarity, and yes—a little shake-up in the best kind of way.

We kick off the month with the Sun in gentle Cancer, encouraging emotional reset, home comforts, and reconnecting with the people who feel like home. If life has felt a bit full-on lately, July says: soften, breathe, and come back to yourself. Whether that’s a walk in nature, a catch-up with your best mate, or just switching off for a bit—do it. You deserve peace.

Venus enters chatty Gemini on the 4th, and suddenly everything lightens. Conversations flow, laughter returns, and flirty vibes are back in the air. You might find it easier to speak your truth—or meet someone who just gets you. Perfect for both heart-to-hearts and fun nights out.

Now, Uranus makes a rare move into Gemini on the 7th. This is big! Expect sudden insights, exciting ideas, and little sparks of change. Every 80 years, the planet Uranus, the great ‘Awakener’ and Pluto, the ‘Transformer’, forms an alignment that causes enormous restlessness, turbulence and has the power to change lives forever, suddenly and without any prior warning and on December 15th 2016 is when we are likely to see the fireworks igniting.

The people most likely to feel its effect are any of the Cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn and of course, it will also have great influence on the lives of individuals who have close relationships with anyone born under these signs.

The planet Uranus acts as a catalyst for change and liberation by pulling the carpet from under our carefully planned lives forcing us to reassess, revaluate and closely examine ourselves before deciding which direction to go in next. Planet Pluto, the great ‘Transformer’ takes no prisoners either. It represents upheaval on a titanic scale affecting forces of nature and human lives. He rises from the depths, unearthing and exposing everything in its wake. If you have ever heard the ground rumble, you have heard his voice. First there is destruction which is then followed by reconstruction and an opportunity for us to rebuild our lives in a completely new way than before.

Whether on a personal, professional or social level, the affect of this Uranus, Pluto Square is both explosive and transformational. People are likely to experience increased irritability and an unusual sensitivity to criticism. Difficulty in taking advice, aggression, paranoia and an inner conflict between parts of themselves that want to stay the way they are and their tremendous struggle for change in order to avoid stagnation and being left behind.

Its real party time when planet Venus becomes embroiled in all this cosmic activity because its connection to Pluto is likely to transform personal and romantic relationships on a very deep level. With it being square to Uranus, there is a strong indication that there could be some sudden new affairs probably ending as suddenly as they started or some very sudden and painful relationship break ups could be happen causing shock waves through society. As if all this activity isn’t enough, on December 24th, Planet Mercury that symbolises ‘Communication’ joins this powerful gathering of the clans, so watch out for some potentially explosive and revealing conversations taking place over the Christmas festivities, where no secrets will be safe and certain people’s dirty washing aired in public and in the media.

Travellers, be mindful when taking journeys either long distance or locally because the influence of Uranus can often be the cause of accidents and stressful aspects. Combined with Pluto, this can worsen the situation by causing fatalities, so keep your wits about you and avoid taking foolish risks.

The most important message that this planetary alignment brings is that we must all be more flexible and prepared to accept change. Be bold and brave enough to let go of anything or anyone that no longer serves you well so that you can be allowed to develop, reinvent yourself and grow into the person you can truly be and start to live the life you have always wanted, making your dreams become a reality.

In my day to day life I meet so many people that are themselves or know someone who is affected by this cruel, senseless and ravaging disease. By joining forces and raising funds for vitally important research and treatment – Together we can make a difference and FIND A CURE.

For some it will be a brand new chapter, a time to start a fresh and get those resolutions actioned and to generally ‘have another go’.

For others this is not so easily achieved. Last year saw people lose their loved ones, tackle tough challenging times over health matters, face adverse weather conditions on a grand scale, relationships ended and jobs drew to a close too.

However, that year has gone, we cannot change it – no matter how hard we try. But what we can do is, find strength in the good memories we have, put our trust, faith and belief in those that can help us, build up stronger foundations and fill our homes with joy, allow ourselves to love and be loved again, and embrace a new challenge in which we can develop and grow.

The New Year brings with it hope, excitement and the chance to make things better than before.

Life is not a rehearsal, we have to embrace it and make the most of every last drop we are given.

So think big, dream big, set your goals and aim high. Squeeze as much out of the life you have as possible.

One idea I am keen to do this year is The HAPPINESS JAR!

You need to get a jar, and write down each thing that brings you happiness throughout the year on a piece of paper and put it in the jar.

It could be surprise gifts, accomplishments, birthdays, weddings, births, things your children have said or done, ‘lol’ moments, holidays, memories worth saving, the beauty of nature and daily blessings etc.

Then, on 31st December 2014, open the jar and read all the amazing things that happened to you In 2014!!

I am blessed to have such wonderful family and true friends, who have been there for me in my times of difficulty, I hope they realise that I would always be there for them too.

However, isn’t it just lovely to kick leaves, pick conkers and smell open fires in the air, together with the anticipation of bonfire night which is just around the corner and of course the spookiest night of the year – Halloween!

This year’s Halloween party was super special as it was also combined with my lovely mums birthday; wine, pumpkins, good friends and cake – a lovely night to remember!

Last year there was much hype and speculation over the Mayan Calendar and how it ended in 2012. However, the world didn’t end like many thought it would, but instead it bought immense changes to peoples’ lives this year.

2013 has been a challenging and life changing year in more ways than one, it has seen extremes of great happiness and tremendous sadness, together with people making big adjustments of their own accord. Births, deaths, beginnings and endings together with health issues which have all had a significant impact.

I for one will be glad to say goodbye to 2013 and welcome 2014 with open arms – If it has been a tough time for you also, hang in there and focus on what you have got, not what you haven’t, you will soon have reason to celebrate.

Thank you for all your lovely comments about ‘May the Best House Win’, I had an absolute ball filming the show, yes they were long hours, but it was enjoyable to do and great to meet some new faces, oh, and it was fantastic to WIN!!
